I am an art director in the magazine publishing industry, residing in Melbourne, Australia.

Dangerously close to 30 years of age, I haven't clung to the appearance of youth, but embraced the 'nanna-arts'.

When not whipping up a layout in InDesign or attending a photo shoot at work, I love nothing more than cosy-ing up at home with my lovely husband and gorgeous puppies.

Ok, I was going to share my crafty journey with you in chronological order, but I’m going to skip a few chapters, just this once (‘cos I’m so excited). On Friday, my mate Carlz (crazy monkey, you can read her blog here) taught me how to crochet granny squares! She was such a brilliant little teacher, I went away that night and powered through a second whilst watching telly, marvelling at my own magnificence! I love craft! Oh and by the way, I’ve been coveting this gorgeous book: Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Afghans. The biggest problem will be deciding which design to do first! I think I’ll have to make a granny square blanket first though — I told Dad last night that I was going to make a rug like my great aunt Dorothy made, and he seemed thrilled. Awww.
