I am an art director in the magazine publishing industry, residing in Melbourne, Australia.

Dangerously close to 30 years of age, I haven't clung to the appearance of youth, but embraced the 'nanna-arts'.

When not whipping up a layout in InDesign or attending a photo shoot at work, I love nothing more than cosy-ing up at home with my lovely husband and gorgeous puppies.

I have added to my collection of rounds (whilst watching just about every soppy girly movie I own), from the 31 I had when I first posted, to 94! (And just in case you’re Rainman, no — there isn’t 94 in this photo, I have done even more since I took this pic!). Thank you to Sharon who gave me extra encouragement by commenting on my first ‘sunspot’ post: I am slowly getting there! About another 100 should do it!

Oh and guess what? For those of you who love the design and would like to make one yourself, the pattern is now available for all! And thank goodness too, as I had added an extra two stitches to the white section (I have only joined four rounds, easily re-do-able). Simply jump to Stitch Nation — instructions are on screen, and you can download a PDF too. Have a browse of the other patterns while you’re there, there is loads of inspiration!… But one project at a time, I think…
