Meet Polly: my first soiree into the land of sewing. Polly enjoys cool autumn days with warm sunshine and lots of cuddles, but is afraid of residing on a shelf so low that the boys (read: puppies) will befriend her. Ideally suited to a little bubba (no sharp bits or buttons to chew off), I haven’t yet had the heart to part with her — one day! This cute little friend is made from a simple pattern from the delightful book, Softies. A great project to get started (for big and little kids alike), the book’s instructions were easy to follow for a newbie like me. And lots of others yet to try! (Though, not yet game to try the knitted ones — yikes!).
