When not whipping up a layout in InDesign or attending a photo shoot at work, I love nothing more than cosy-ing up at home with my lovely husband and gorgeous puppies.

Happy birthday to me!! This little treasure is my new baby. Our trip to Italy is a few short months away, hubby and I decided a laptop would be a great little tool on our travels: downloading photos, booking accommodation and sending emails to friends and family.

I’ve been using iWeb to design my blog thus far, but I may need to throw in the towel. As far as I know, I can’t mirror iWeb files on my iMac and laptop. I don’t want to work solely on my laptop (as pretty as she is), so I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get my head around WordPress — for some serious portable bloggin’. I’ve dabbled during an afternoon, and I got so freakin’ frustrated. It was like trying to design a layout with Microsoft Word. Urgh. Anyone else feel my pain?

As an extra special treat, hubby and I are going to Vue de monde for dinner tonight. I have been looking forward to it for months (literally, we booked months ago. There is about a five month wait for a table on a Friday or Saturday night). I want to try every little morsel on their menu. Check out their website, but be careful not to drool on your keyboard…
