I hurriedly shot these photos of my sister a couple weeks back (hurriedly because the light changes so quickly!) — she would have been about 33 weeks preggo at the time, I'm guessing. She gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Lucy Nina, on March 9. We are all so very chuffed.
I thought her belly looked huge then, it's hard to believe it got so much bigger! My sister has always been very athletic, so her body shape hasn't really changed — she's just got a basketball shoved up her jumper…
I asked for Dee's permission to put these photos up here on my blog — she's never been the shy and retiring type — but I've kept my selection to the less risque ones!
Dee and her hubby decided they'd prefer a surprise, so didn't find out the sex of the baby at the scans (I thought it was a boy!). I made a quilt for bubs arrival, and not knowing the sex forced me to be more creative with colour choices. I'll be sharing that little project with you soon. Welcome, beautiful Lucy.
