My sister is just four days from the due date of her first bubba — how time flies! (sorry Deesy, I know it's probably dragging for you now!) While inutero, the bubba has been called 'Princess Champion EJ' — as they opted to not know the sex, my sister figures this covers all bases. When selecting fabrics for the quilt (from Amitie, of course. And yes, I was there so long, the lovely sales girl made me a cup of tea) I decided to avoid the gender neutral naturals, and instead use every colour in the rainbow, with am emphasis on greens and reds (my sister and her hubby have painted their nursery a soft green, and use highlights of red elsewhere in the house).

I really love the pattern I've decided to use for this quilt — I'll keep you posted on my progress… and hers! I can't wait to find out if little bubs is a Princess or a Champion!
