sunspot crochet is a-go!
NOW I can take a deep breath and savour the moment — I'm almost there! The rounds are complete (with new Zara colours done and dusted; it did put me behind schedule, but I'm glad I bothered because they've added more blues and greens to the mix and made the overall size of the rug larger), now it's time to put them all together. It's lovely to look at them all laid out like this, it lets my eyes take all the colour in at once, like little pixels in a larger image. I estimate that when I'm done, the rug will measure approximately 105cm wide x 142.5cm high. Perfect for a little someone to snuggle up in.

It's slow going, Ing! I have crocheted together my first strip, but am a little bit stumped now that I've gotten to the second row — it's the corners that have me scratching my noggin'. Maybe I can bring what I've done so far to dinner next week! xo |
