Ooh, the days and nights are getting mighty chilly (I realise there are plenty of people in the world who live in areas where it snows and would guffaw at my perception of ‘chilly’). The leaves are starting to turn beautiful shades of gold and red and brown, and my breath makes puffy clouds as I walk to the train station in the mornings. The perfect weather for…quilts! Meet quilt #2. This was also purchased as a kit, from a beautiful little store called Amitie. I get lost in this store for hours and hours, pouring over the rolls of gorgeous fabrics, and gaining inspiration from their sample quilts and patchwork cushions. I’ve been tempted to attend one of their classes, too (perhaps applique?). Oh and big happy birthday to my lovely friend Ali today. You’re a great mate, and I love ya’s to bits. xo
