I am an art director in the magazine publishing industry, residing in Melbourne, Australia.

Dangerously close to 30 years of age, I haven't clung to the appearance of youth, but embraced the 'nanna-arts'.

When not whipping up a layout in InDesign or attending a photo shoot at work, I love nothing more than cosy-ing up at home with my lovely husband and gorgeous puppies.

Following on from my last post, in which I uploaded an article featuring Shannon Bennett and Guy Grossi…

Last year I had the unbelievably good fortune to oversee a photo-shoot in the Grossi Florentino kitchen of Guy Grossi. The shoot was to promote Leggo’s tomato paste, and I was so excited to see the inner workings of this Melbourne icon. Guy was an incredibly loveable character: full of energy and passion for his work. I am so very keen to go back and sample some of the menu! I imagine the long hours and fast pace of dinner service in the food industry is gruelling, yet so many chefs retain the drive to continually improve their skills and their product. I really love the passion food inspires.

Oh and I also loved the Food Safari Italian series that Guy co-hosted with Maeve O’Meara. I hope I get to taste all that and more when hubby and I travel there in 6-odd weeks!! Geez, I better get booking — I haven’t made a single hotel reservation yet! Eeeek!
