92 posts and 8 months later, and here we are! I didn’t know when I started this little blog of nonsense if I would have the discipline to post regularly over a long period, but I’m pleased with how I’m doing. I don’t have the time or enthusiasm to post everyday like Pip or Lucy, but feel like I am finding the balance between writing about stuff and doing stuff worth writing about.

Thanks to y’all who have contributed via comments — and a super-duper sorry for those out there who are still having trouble with the commenting system. I’m hoping I’ll be able to pull myself away from the fun of the outdoors between now and my return to work to implement a new site*.

I’ve also had a couple people ask me about Brucie — one of whom was concerned about his biscuit diet. Don’t worry, I haven’t been feeding him sugary sweet cookies, but plain water crackers (only marginally better, as I understand Magpies are meat-eaters). Anyhoo, Brucie has only just recommenced visiting after a long hiatus (perhaps he took the fam on an early Christmas holiday?). I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t thrilled with the paparazzi-like style of his last visit. I missed him muchly — whenever I saw Maggies out the front of our house, I waved and told them if they saw Brucie to let him know I say hello. Now I’ve just got to figure out a way to always have a little bit of meat on hand to give him, as I never know when he’s coming. A worm farm, perhaps?

Also a big thanks to those who gave me music suggestions, and even better, gave me music pressies! I’ll be sharing my new playlist with you over the coming weeks.
